Wheeling Away to Wellness


Our lives are getting increasingly complex, with higher levels of uncertainty & stress. You may be having an erratic work schedule making it impossible for you to find time to workout or just simply relax. You may be a working woman, struggling to find time for yourself amidst managing household chores, kids & a demanding career. Which is not to say that a stay-at-home mom/ wife is free from stress.

Trying to meet all the demands thrown at us by the outside world, we don't seem to have the time to monitor our own well being, waiting till we actually fall sick to introspect our lifestyle. To face life's challenges far more effectively, there are things we can do of our own accord to maintain our health & enhance it.

This blog has been conceived with the idea of providing ways that I have learnt through my 'Teacher Training Course' at the Sivanada Yoga Vedanta Center’ and my own experience of teaching aerobics at a leading Fitness Studio in Hyderabad to enhance our physical, mental & emotional well-being.

We will begin by learning to first, regulate our breathing. As the way we breathe determines to a great extent the length & quality of our lives. Also, I believe that breathing right can help us get deeper into 'yogic postures'.

We will then learn relaxation techniques to calm the body & mind. And then, move on to 'yogasanas & other exercises' to improve our general health.


I will be publishing one post at a time giving you the time to grasp its contents thoroughly before publishing the next.
